Honoured to Be Mrs. Canada Universe and Ready to Make a Difference
Winning the National title of Mrs. Canada Universe is an incredible honor, and becoming the first military veteran to hold such a prestigious Canadian national pageant title adds a unique layer of meaning to this achievement. This victory is not just a personal milestone but an opportunity to further a cause close to my heart—advocating for veterans, their families, and raising awareness about PTSD.
Standing on the stage, hearing my name called as the winner, was a surreal moment. It symbolizes not only the hard work and dedication of everyone who helped me along the way, but also the potential to make meaningful change. As a military veteran, I have seen firsthand the sacrifices made by service members and their families, and I am incredibly proud to represent them in this new capacity.
With this title, I plan to shine a spotlight on the needs and challenges faced by veterans. My goal is to foster understanding and support for those who have served our country. By sharing stories and creating platforms for discussion, I hope to bring attention to the issues that matter most to veterans.
One of the most pressing issues I plan to address is PTSD awareness. It’s a topic that is often misunderstood and stigmatized, affecting not just veterans but many others. Through public speaking, collaborations with mental health organizations, and community initiatives, I aim to promote a better understanding of PTSD and advocate for resources and support systems.
Winning Mrs. Canada Universe is just the beginning. I am committed to using this platform to influence change, whether it’s through media engagements, community events, or policy advocacy. I invite veterans, pageant enthusiasts, and supporters of PTSD awareness to join me on this journey. Together, we can make a difference.
This title is more than a crown—it’s a call to action. I am excited and determined to use this opportunity to advocate for those who have served and continue to serve, bringing awareness to the challenges they face and working towards a future where their sacrifices are recognized and supported. Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to what we can achieve together.
